Credits

Where do I see how many credits I've used?

·3 min read

On this page

It is all under Settings → Subscription: your credits, each batch with its expiry, and a line for everything you have spent. On the canvas, the number beside the generate button is this job's cost and your balance sits at the top of the screen. If the balance looks wrong, start with the lines beginning `Refund:` — anything we gave back is recorded there.

What Settings → Subscription shows

SectionWhat's there
BalanceCredits left, and each batch you received with its expiry
Usage historyOne line each, newest first
Payment historyDate, amount, whether it succeeded, and a receipt link

The expiry on each batch is the part worth reading: whatever is left in it expires then, and next month's arrives. The batch expiring soonest is spent first. Expired credits are recorded as their own line in your history.

Reading one line

A line is when, what for, how many credits.

  • Generation — a photo generated, a photo edited, a clip made.
  • Lines starting `Refund:` — credits given back, with the reason after it: failed, timed out.
  • Top-ups — credits that arrived from a payment or a plan change.

Background removal and upscaling do not move the balance, since they cost nothing. We do count how many you have run today, and the screen tells you when you reach the limit.

When the numbers look wrong

Three usual explanations.

  1. Credits leave when a job starts, not when it finishes. If something is still generating, the balance is already down.
  2. A batch counts per shot. Five shots is 5. The shoot plan says how many.
  3. Failures come back with a delay. Immediate errors refund at once; a job that simply stops answering is confirmed failed and refunded within two hours.

If you have checked all three and it still does not add up, send us a screenshot. We will go through the ledger with you.

Receipts

In payment history, click a successful payment to open its receipt. For tax invoices, see How do I get a receipt or a tax invoice?.

Frequently asked

Can I export the usage history?
Not from the screen yet. Email us and we will put it together for you.
What happens to credits I do not use?
Each batch expires at its own date and the next month's arrives. The expiry is recorded as its own line in your history, so nothing disappears silently.
I think someone else is using my account.
Check the sign-in history in settings and email us straight away. We will lock the account and go through it with you.
