How do I read the canvas?

The canvas is two halves: the conversation on the left, and the board where finished shots stack up as cards on the right. Almost everything is “select a shot, then say one thing” — click a card and it attaches to the input box as a chip, and whatever you say next is about that shot. Nothing selected means you are making something new; something selected means you are changing it. That one rule is most of the canvas.
Left — the conversation
Where you say what you want. GESTEL plans the shoot here, asks when something is genuinely ambiguous, and tells you when it is done.
- Type @ to attach a shot from this project, a saved product, or a brand kit. “@Serum, summery shots” works.
- Chips are what the conversation is currently about. Remove a chip and that shot drops out of it.
- Conversations are kept per project, so you can pick up where you left off. New chat starts clean.
Right — the board of cards
One finished shot is one card. Product photos you uploaded and products you saved sit there as cards too.
- Click to select. Shift-click or drag on empty space for several.
- Lines show what came from what. An edited shot grows next to the one it came from.
- When it gets messy, use tidy up in the menu — it re-packs the cards so nothing overlaps. You can tidy just the selection.
- Undo (⌘Z) works, including on deletes. Refreshing clears the undo history.

What this account owns, in four shelves.
- Products — your saved products and the shared samples. Pick one to put it on the canvas.
- Brand kits — the brand tones you have built. Pick one and everything you make from then on carries it.
- Scenes — a library of frequently used scenes.
- References — files you uploaded yourself.
Files is separate: finished shots only, so you can download them in one go.
On a phone
On a narrow screen you get the conversation only; the board of cards folds away and opens from the menu below. Making and checking work fine, but selecting and arranging many shots is much easier on a large screen.
